Main Page redesign

[edit]

The Main Page Redesign proposal is currently conducting a straw poll to select five new designs, before an RFC in which one will be proposed to replace the Main Page. The poll closes on October 31st. Your input would be hugely appreciated! Many thanks, PretzelsTalk! 08:49, 28 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion review

[edit]

You accidentally created [1] a deletion review on the page Wikipedia:Deletion today because you clicked "edit" at the section Wikipedia:Deletion today#Deletion review. I have moved it to Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2009 March 15 where it belongs, and fixed the use of {{drv2}}. The review is transcluded in Wikipedia:Deletion today#15 March 2009 and can be edited by clicking "edit" at that section or the subsection, but not by clicking "edit" earlier on Wikipedia:Deletion today. Deletion review

[edit]

I have posted a question at Wikipedia:Deletion review#"The_Above_Ground_Sound"_of_Jake_Holmes which you may be able to answer. Can you please return to that discussion to answer it? Stifle (talk) 10:44, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Felicia Tang

[edit]

Hi, SPNic. I saw your note about Deletion review. Here is another source: http://www.ktla.com/news/landing/ktla-felicia-tang-murder,0,1508792.story. My recommendation would be to not waste time with the bureaucracy, look around for other Southern California news coverage, and just use the newly-available sourcing to write an article, and post it. Obviously she was notable before the deletion of the article as well, but due to this tragedy, it's now easier to find sourcing on her and to write a "notable" article-- i.e., an article that will survive AfD... Good luck! Dekkappai (talk) 17:35, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A few more: [2], [3], [4], [5], etc. (more at [6]) Dekkappai (talk) 17:58, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, I'll look into it when I get a chance-- have to finish up a little here & step out for a while right now. Dekkappai (talk) 02:15, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Asa Akira

[edit]

Hi, SPNic. I see the article was just closed as "delete". I think it's a bad close, and I didn't even save a copy of the article, because I thought it was pretty obvious she is "notable". (I've retrieved a copy from Google cache and stored it HERE-- feel free to copy it to your own workspace.) Anyway, no need to panic. Again, I wouldn't waste time with deletion review or other Wiki-procedures. Just work on the article in your workspace, or come over and work on it at Boobpedia: (http://www.boobpedia.com/boobs/Asa_Akira) I don't think there's any question she's already "notable", and will just get more so. Until you've put together enough sourcing and writing to make it crystal-clear, just add what you can to the article outside of the WP mainspace. Cheers! 1. Please do not add or change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to List of songs in Glee (season 2). Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Yves (talk) 18:53, 15 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Please do not add information to Wikipedia without a reliable source. Thank you. Yves (talk) 18:53, 15 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I was not patronizing you. If you read my comment, you will see it is polite and merely to the point. I was just reminding you of one of Wikipedia's main policies; that information must be accompanied by a reliable source, which you did not provide here. Do not call other users names. Please review WP:NPA. Hipocrite (talk) 16:06, 2 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

So you believe it's ok to call other people names if you don't like what they say? Hipocrite (talk) 17:26, 2 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Notice

The article Krenshar has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
